Making a fallen tree stump.

Old faithful. Toilet roll tube.
Added polystyrene branch and covered with foil.

Tissue and PVA for the texture and shape.

Painted, with sprouting fledgling branches.

    A: Not necessary at all. Though it may help, the foil was only a quick solution to holding the branch to the trunk. I could have just used glue. The bark texture was created by 'nipping' the wet (with half PVA:half water) tissue. It also creases naturally as it's applied.
